Draft template — to be completed before launch. Sections marked [like this] must be filled in with the real business details. This template is not legal advice; have it reviewed by a qualified professional.
These terms apply to your use of this website, operated by [registered business / legal name] trading as StreamlineTech. By using the website, you agree to these terms.
1. Our services
We provide website design and development, Google Business Profile optimisation and review-process services. The specific scope, deliverables, timelines and price for any project are set out in a written quote or agreement, which takes precedence over these website terms.
2. Free audits
Our online presence audit is free and creates no obligation to purchase. Recommendations are general guidance based on the information available at the time.
3. No guaranteed results
Search rankings, map results, reviews and enquiries depend on many factors outside our control, including Google's systems and your customers' choices. We do not guarantee any particular ranking, number of reviews, leads or revenue.
4. Third-party platforms
Google, Google Business Profile and other third-party platforms are owned and operated by their respective providers. StreamlineTech is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own terms and policies.
5. Reviews
We only support genuine customer reviews. We do not create, buy or sell reviews, offer incentives for Google reviews, selectively request only positive reviews, or suppress negative feedback.
6. Payment
[Payment terms, deposits, invoicing schedule and late payment terms]
7. Cancellations and refunds
Because our services are tailored to each client, cancellation and refund terms are set out in your written quote or agreement before any work begins. As a general guide:
- You may cancel before work starts. [State whether deposits are refundable, and within what period]
- If you cancel part-way through a project, you pay for work completed up to that point. [Confirm how this is calculated]
- Ongoing services (such as maintenance or profile management) can be cancelled with [e.g. 30 days] written notice.
- If something we deliver doesn't match what was agreed, tell us and we'll put it right.
If you are a consumer rather than a business, you also have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, including a 14-day cancellation period for services agreed at a distance (such as online or by phone). Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
8. Intellectual property
The content and design of this website belong to StreamlineTech unless stated otherwise. Ownership of client project deliverables is set out in each project agreement. [Confirm default ownership terms]
9. Liability
This website is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Irish law. [Have liability terms reviewed by a solicitor]
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any disputes.
